Any client who is more than 20 minutes late for an appointment will be considered a no show and will be charged for their appointment. There is a $50 fee for no-shows on tattoo touch ups when less than 48 hours cancellation/reschedule notice is given. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Important Pre-Waxing Guidelines: Retinol, Retin-A, Retinoic Acid, and Hydroquinone _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ To ensure your waxing experience is as safe and smooth as possible, please avoid using Retinol, Retin-A, retinoic acid, or Hydroquinone for at least one week prior to your appointment, regardless of where you apply them and where you plan to get waxed. Waxing removes not just hair, but also a thin layer of skin cells. When combined with the exfoliating properties of these products, this can cause increased sensitivity, redness, irritation, or even skin damage. Since retinol and tretinoin thin the outer layer of the skin (stratum corneum), waxing may adhere to skin cells that are not meant to be removed. This can result in unintended damage to the skin, as the wax may pull off more than just hair. Additional Tips: Avoid exfoliating your skin for 24 to 48 hours before your waxing appointment to prevent irritation. On the day of your appointment, refrain from applying any lotions, creams, or other products to your skin. However, we encourage regular exfoliation a few times a week between appointments to maintain smooth, soft skin.
